From diapers to Kindergarten?

Yall! I can't believe that we made it to Kindergarten already. It seem like I just had her yesterday. I vividly remember being in labor. It was September 13th and I had just got my hair braided. The next day, I was supposed to go get my nails and toes done. I was not letting my baby come into the world not seeing her mama cute! LOL

I was scheduled to get induced on September 16, 2016. I had been going back and forth to the doctor, weekly at this point, to see a specialist because I was considered "high risk" because she was so tiny (BUT mind yall I'm only 4'll lol). They couldn't of expected me to carry an 8 lb baby.

Anywho, of course I started to contract and when I went to the hospital, they kept me because I was so close to my induction date. I wanted to cry. My OBGYN delivered out of Henry Ford West Bloomfield Hospital. The hospital offered so many different fresh food stations in the food court, prenatal massages, etc. I already had my plan in mind.

Needless to say, after 7 1/2 hours of labor, I delivered a beautiful baby girl.

Fast forward to 2021, here we are. Ryann has been super excited to start school and make new friends (and she's done just that) lol. The first week of school - went super great and super smooth. I've been enjoying every moment of it - dropping off, picking up, making lunches, everything! I'm looking forward to every part of it and being involved 100%, or as much as covid guidelines will allow me to now anyways.

I hope that all the mama's are having just as much fun as me. I'm praying for a safe, healthy, and successful school year for our babies.

XOXO,

Nesh
